WHY GRAPHITE?
Every work begins with graphite, be it a work of art, print or digital media. Graphite links the creative soul and voice to communicate ideas, concepts and goals.
WHO AND WHERE AM I?
I am an emerging freelance Graphic Designer, based in Austinmer, in an awesome creative community, living and working in the stunning Coal Coast of the Illawarra, just a short hop from Sydney.
WHAT I DO?
I am interested in a range of graphic design disciplines from Brand Id, Illustration, Art, Photo media, Publishing and Web.
STYLE
I admit that I have a strong affinity for monochrome black and white works, for their clarity, simplicity and contrast. That said, colour like all design elements and principles is fundamental and used whenever and where ever needed.
PASSION
I have a passion for seeing the art in nature from a macro viewpoint. I am fascinated by the textures, patterns, shapes, contrast and tone of the natural forms that surround us that often go unseen that can be found in the most unexpected places and times.
