BRIEF
This project involved rebranding logo and rework website. Design colours black and dark gold, professional, stylish, sophisticated, community focus, unique from other physie brands, link to coastal environment, appeal to all ages 3 to 103.
CONCEPT
The design concepts draws upon the group formation of physical culture competition / demonstration dances. The dance style is very disciplined, synchronized, uniform, precise and can be individual or team based. Diamond selected to represent each dancer a unique jewel. Reference to diamond link to community's black diamond district. Hardworking dedicated coal mining community transition to upmarket creative engaging and welcoming community. Diamond precious stone, hard, strong, beautiful, special. Flowing organic script used for type set in way to represent flowing continuous movement of the dance style as well as waves of the sea and provide the link to coastal community. Circle in the "O" represent development and growth. Curving "Mt" represent mountains of the escarpment.
