CONCEPT
The washed up series was the start of my journey with black and white drawings. It has now grown into a larger study, with works captured in their own rights across mutiple subjects found washed up from the sea. The sea scallop shells are part of my beach coming collection from my home town Clifton Beach TAS. The sea star work was inspired by local sea star / star fish found in loca rock pools and some found at Clifton.
The initial works that kicked off this series are show at the bottom - blue dragon, blue bottle, urchins and blue button. Shows a bit of the journey evolution and development of this style of work.
